Yash wanted to build a career in technology with a clear focus on strengthening his skills and finding the right direction.

“My family always gave importance to education and hard work,” he says.

Growing up in Jalgaon, he understood early that building a career would require both preparation and persistence. After completing his graduation, he began exploring opportunities and actively engaging with the job market.

“I was searching for a job for a long time,” he says. “But opportunities were limited.”

Instead of continuing to apply broadly, Yash made a deliberate shift. He chose to focus on building relevant, in-demand skills.

He discovered Generation India through a webinar and decided to enrol in the AWS re/Start programme to strengthen both his technical capability and his readiness for the workplace.

“The programme aligned well with my expectations and helped me grow both technically and professionally,” he says.

Where the Change Took Shape

During the programme, Yash built skills in AWS fundamentals while also improving his communication and interview readiness.

“The programme improved my confidence, communication skills, and interview preparation,” he says.

More importantly, his approach became more focused. He began preparing with intention – developing specific skills, understanding industry expectations, and positioning himself for roles that matched his capabilities.

What had earlier felt broad and uncertain began to take a clearer shape.

Putting Skills into Practice

After completing the programme, Yash actively pursued opportunities through placement support and secured a role at SteepGraph Systems Pvt. Ltd.

Today, he applies his skills in a professional environment while continuing to strengthen his technical capabilities.

The impact is visible beyond the workplace. With increased financial stability and growing confidence, he is contributing to easing financial pressure at home and building a more secure path forward.

“My family feels proud of my professional growth,” he says.
