Bhuvaneshwari: Finding Confidence in the Classroom
Bhuvaneshwari lives in Hyderabad with her parents and younger sibling in a rented apartment.
After completing her studies, Bhuvaneshwari began searching for a job.
“I was searching for a job for months,” she recalls. “It was stressful and discouraging at times.”
As the search continued, her confidence began to waver. She wanted to work, but she wasn’t sure she had the skills employers were looking for.
Rebuilding Confidence
Around this time, Bhuvaneshwari learned about Generation India’s Junior Full Stack Java Developer programme through a friend and social media. She decided to enrol to strengthen her skills and improve her chances in the job market.
The training focused on both technical and professional development. Sessions covered communication, interview preparation, and practical exercises designed to simulate workplace situations.
“I found the practical training sessions and mock interviews most useful,” she says.
Through repeated practice and regular feedback, Bhuvaneshwari began approaching interviews with greater clarity and confidence.
“The trainers and mentors guided me regularly and cleared my doubts patiently,” she says.
A First Opportunity
After completing the programme, Bhuvaneshwari began attending interviews through placement support. Soon after, she secured her first job.
Today, she works as an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) teacher at Birla Open Minds International School.
In her role, she introduces students to digital tools and basic computing concepts, helping them understand how technology can support learning. The work requires patience, clarity, and the ability to explain ideas simply, skills she strengthened during her training.
The job has brought visible changes to her daily life. Her income now contributes to household expenses, easing financial pressure and bringing a sense of pride to her family.
“My job has helped support my family financially, and they feel proud of me,” she says.
Looking Ahead
Teaching has also given Bhuvaneshwari a clearer sense of direction. Working with students has helped her see the long-term possibilities within education.
She hopes to continue building her career in the field and take on greater responsibility over time.
Looking back at the times she spent searching for work, she sees them differently now.
“I feel confident and optimistic about my future,” she says.
