Growing up in Bhiwandi, Anushka was raised in a family where hard work shaped everyday life. Her parents earned their livelihood driving auto-rickshaws, and their consistency and resilience influenced how she viewed responsibility and work from an early age.

“My childhood was simple, grounded in hard work, honesty, and strong family values,” she says.

After completing her HSC, Anushka began searching for jobs. While she felt capable of taking on professional responsibilities, finding the right opportunity wasn’t easy.

“I was searching for a job for a few months,” she says. “The experience was challenging as I faced difficulties in finding the right opportunity.”

At the same time, limited exposure and access to guidance made it harder to navigate the job market with confidence and clarity.

Building Skills with Intention

Anushka first heard about Generation India through a friend. She decided to enrol in the Customer Care Executive programme with a clear focus on strengthening her capabilities and improving her readiness for professional roles. The programme offered structured training and support that could help her build workplace skills and prepare for employment.

“The training and guidance were the most valuable aspects for me,” she says.

Growing Through Learning

During the programme, Anushka developed customer handling skills, communication abilities, and basic computer knowledge – skills directly connected to workplace expectations.

Beyond technical learning, the programme also introduced her to a more structured understanding of professional environments and career growth. Mentorship and guidance throughout the programme helped her build confidence and approach opportunities with greater clarity.

“I was supported with training, guidance, and mentorship during the program,” she adds.

Over time, what had initially felt uncertain became more defined.

Creating a Stronger Future

After completing the programme, Anushka secured her first job at Eureka in Thane. Today, she is earning and continues to build her professional experience while strengthening the skills she developed during training.

“Since then, I have gained confidence, professional skills, and a clearer direction for my career,” she says.

The impact has also been visible at home. Her family now feels more confident about her future and proud of the progress she has made.

“My family is proud of my achievements and more confident about my career,” she says.

Looking Ahead with Confidence

“I feel confident about my future,” Anushka says.

She now sees clear growth opportunities and is focused on continuing to learn, gain experience, and build a stable career path.
