Akash’s Story: A Journey of Growth and Empowerment

Akash grew up in a modest, middle-class family in Trivandrum, where opportunities were few, and financial struggles were part of daily life. His father worked as a daily laborer, while his mother managed the household. Despite their hard work, making ends meet was often difficult. Akash, after completing his DIFA (Diploma in Financial Accounting), spent months searching for a job but felt unqualified and unsure of his future. “I was involved in a job search for about six months before joining Generation India,” Akash reflects. “It was challenging, and I felt unqualified for many jobs due to a lack of skills and experience.”

Akash’s life took a significant turn when he stumbled upon Generation India through social media. With his confidence waning, the programme seemed like a lifeline. He decided to enroll in the course with cautious optimism, unsure if it would fulfill his expectations.
