After dedicating seven years to her career in software engineering, Smitanjali made a deliberate choice to take a hiatus to take care of her young child. This break period transformed her in every way, making her a better person and allowing her to focus on upskilling and reskilling during her spare time.

Relaunching her career wasn’t an easy path. Smitanjali faced initial rejections that were difficult and heartbreaking, each one a setback that shook her confidence and tested her determination. However, she learned and grew stronger with each setback, and as she persisted and gave more interviews, her confidence began to rise.

Now, after a five-year break, Smitanjali has successfully restarted her career with Accenture as a Machine Learning Engineer. She is thrilled to apply her AWS skills at work, finding the experience of learning something new every day incredibly fulfilling.
