India Impact Report – 10 Years of Creating Change that Lasts highlights a decade of Generation India Foundation’s work in expanding access to meaningful employment opportunities for young people across the country. Established in 2015, the organisation focuses on addressing the dual challenges of talent scarcity and unemployment by equipping individuals—particularly those facing barriers due to education, economic background, or limited opportunities—with industry-relevant skills and career support.

Over the past ten years, Generation India has trained 61,000+ learners across 25 states, delivering outcome-based skilling programmes across sectors such as technology, healthcare, customer service, retail, logistics, and green jobs. The report highlights the organisation’s impact across breadth, depth, and durability—from strong job placement rates and wage growth to long-term career progression and improved financial well-being for alumni.

Empowering Lives Embracing Collaboration

Project AMBER Report “Empowering Lives Embracing Collaboration” was released by Shri Atul Kumar Tiwari, Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. This report highlights the project’s advancements in skills training and job placements, offering insights and best practices to guide future skills development initiatives in India. Project AMBER (Accelerated Mission for Better Employment and Retention), is a joint initiative of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Generation India Foundation under Skill Acquisition and Knowledge Awareness for Livelihood Promotion (SANKALP) – a World Bank funded MSDE programme
