Overview

This curriculum prepares participants for the credit processing (micro/small/medium enterprise) officer role. Entry level  Credit processing officers may work in small finance banks or with business correspondents and generally perform sourcing of leads, securing of documentation and some follow-up post-disbursement.

What jobs can I do after completing the program?

This programme trains you to become a credit processing officer. After completing the programme, you could pursue various roles in the financial industry, particularly in credit and loan processing, such as:

  • MSME loan officer 
  • Loan sales consultant
  • SME Loan Specialist 
  • Sales Associate

These roles involve tasks such as briefing customers, reviewing and processing loan applications, assessing creditworthiness of applicants, verifying financial information, preparing loan documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

Who is this programme for?

This programme is open to anyone aged 21 – 28 years who is living in India and currently unemployed or working on a zero-hours contract. You should be a 12th pass to apply and we encourage applications from groups under-represented in the society- particularly women under 30.

  • Willingness to work 9-5 (or later if needed)
  • OK with salary range
  • License with ability to drive bikes
  • (if previously employed) previous salary should be lower than the MSME loan officer salary

Requirements

  • Class 12th pass, preferably a graduate with knowledge of local language
  • Age Group 21-28 years
  • Not currently in education, training, or employment
  • Having basic proficiency in Math
  • Have the legal right to work & live in the India
  • You live in an Indian State

What does a Credit Processing Officer do?

The role of a Credit Processing Officer involves evaluating and managing credit applications within a financial institution. 

  • This entails assessing the financial standing of applicants by examining factors such as income, credit history, and collateral. 
  • They communicate with applicants to gather necessary details, make decisions on credit approval, and set terms and conditions for approved credit.
  • It is their responsibility to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations, maintain precise records, and oversee the credit application process according to established protocols.

Start Your Application

This is the first level of screening. This phase determines whether the applicants are eligible to apply for the course or not based on their demographics.

Literacy Test

This phase determines/assesses student competencies with respect to comprehending simple sentences and very short simple social conversations through MCQ based questions (to check their listening & reading skill).

Fire in the Belly Test / Pre-work

An assessment designed to gauge an individual’s passion, drive, and motivation towards achieving their goals.

Interview

In this, learners are assessed on the communication skill, professionalism, motivational fit and programme fit.

Decision

You will be notified via email once a decision has been made regarding your admission and next steps.
