Overview

This programme prepares participants from different age groups with a general interest in technology and with basic digital literacy skills for IT Support roles. Entry-level IT Support Engineers support customers and companies with technical products including desktop and server software, hardware and networking. 

What jobs can I do after completing the program?

This programme trains you to become an entry-level IT Support Engineer, a person who support customers and companies with technical products including desktop and server software, hardware and networking. 

They address and resolve customer incidents using a variety of platforms (phone, email, web chats) in various industries. During the incident resolving process, support engineers may work with other experts, vendors, and specialists to resolve the incident.

Who is this programme for?

This programme is open to anyone aged 21-25 Years who is living in India and currently unemployed or working on a zero-hours contract.

You should be a STEM  graduate to apply and we encourage applications from groups under-represented in the society- particularly women under 30.

Willingness to work 8 to 9 hours a day (agility to work on various shifts and long hours sometimes)

Requirements

  • STEM Graduates from Tier 2 & Tier 3 Colleges
  • Age Group 21-25 Years
  • Not currently in education, training, or employment (you can be on a zero hours contract)
  • Basic proficiency in English is a must
  • Have the legal right to work & live in the India
  • You live in an Indian State

What does an IT Support Engineer do?

IT Support Engineers provide customers and companies with technical assistance for information system units that include system hardware, operating systems, applications, and networks. They address and resolve customer incidents in a timely and professional manner across a variety of platforms (phone, email, web chats) in various industries. During the incident resolving process, analysts may work with other experts, vendors, and specialists to resolve the incidents.

NOTE: Role titles used to describe the same role vary greatly between regions and companies, and may include titles such as IT Service Desk Analyst, IT Help Desk Specialist, IT Support Specialist, IT Support Technician, and many more

This phase determines/assesses student competencies with respect to quant skills, Logical reasoning & data interpretation, English proficiency through MCQ based questions to check fit for the programme.

Virtual Interview

40 minutes

We’ll invite you to join an interview session so we can get to know you better and assess your communication skills, professionalism, motivational and programme fit, and willingness to learn.

Decision

Once the decision is taken, candidates will be notified via email regarding their admission and next steps.
